Use the Search box in the upper left corner of each page to search by Book Title, Author, Publisher, Category, ISBN number, Keywords, Comments and our own BookNumber or a portion of any of these.
Some notes on searching our database:
Search for 1 word or several words in a single search. For example, you could find title "Lifepac History & Geography" by entering a search string of "geo lifepac". The words do not need to be complete or in the proper order. It is best to search with only one or two words initially, then you can narrow your search down further if needed. Note that Every word you enter must be contained in an entry to be found. For example, if you were to search for "A beka science history" you would get NO matches. But search for "A beka science" or "A beka history" and you will get scores of items. We attempt to always put the publishers own catalog number in the Keyword field so as a result you are able to search for an A Beka book by its 5 digit catalog number, or any publisher who uses their own numbering system.
You can also search by ISBN number. All of our ISBN numbers are 10 contiguous numbers. (An ISBN can end with an "X") If you have a 13 digit ISBN number, drop the first 3 digits and the last digit and you will get a good search. When searching, all 8 of the fields listed above are searched so when looking for an A Beka catalog number, that number might be found in the middle of an ISBN number giving you hits that may be unexpected. You will get a successful ISBN search if you insert spaces between parts of an ISBN number, but not if you insert anything else, like dashes. Note too that A Beka is two words; never one.
Definition of our Book Conditions
| As New |
As New condition means that you cannot distinguish it from a “brand new” book. The cover is in excellent shape, no surface wear on cover, corners or edges and there is absolutely no writing or highlighting inside the book. |
| Very Good |
Very Good condition means the book has been used, it has no writing or highlighting, the cover might have slight shelf wear, but no problems with the condition. |
| Good |
Good condition means that there may be slight wear or soiling of the cover, corners or edges. There could be some highlighting or notes. If it is a very large workbook, less than 20% might be used, but it is usually noted in the description. |
| Fine |
This condition is ambiguous to us, so we avoid using it. |
| Fair |
Fair condition means that there is wear on the surface of the cover, corners or edges, and there may be writing and highlighting inside the book. There could be missing or used pages from consumable type books, up to 75% of the book may be used. This book is priced so the frugal buyer can use this book with some modifications. |
| Poor |
This condition is one that you wouldn’t normally want. This book has made it into our inventory because it is unusual, rare or hard to obtain. It might be useful for reference or ideas. |
